Cobb), and a good scuffling actress (Evelyn Keyes) whoever aunt (Nina Foch) worked during the local casino and you may dated a beneficial corrupt investigator (Jim Bannon). Its generally a point of seeing Mr. Powell read his paces smartly when you are a large throw out-of actors and you may actresses offer him typical support. Evelyn Keyes takes on the favorable nothing woman just who brings about the fresh new finest in him and you can Ellen Drew is the easy and slinky vixen just who will get your into the jams. Thomas Gomez is actually greasy as the villain and you may Lee J. Cobb really does an alternate in a position journey due to the fact a tired cops inspector who ultimately closes the scenario.
